After my Birthday Flight!

Well I had mentioned that after my 1st flight, Barbara had something else in store for my 40th Birthday.
Located on the airport grounds is a restaurant called
THE 56TH FIGHTER GROUP RESTARAUNT.
It has a great atmosphere because it is all based around aircraft and aviation history. Click the link above and read about it as the P47 was built here! Anyway, she picked me up when my flight was over and said why don't we get some lunch over at the 56th? I said that sounds great as I can tell you all about the flight. As we walked into the restaurant and down the hall, I was totally surprised as Barbara had planned a huge surprise party! 85 guests, a live band, open bar and lots of food! It was amazing! The entire room was filled with aircraft memorabilia, all my family was there, even my brother & his wife flew in from California. Also there were friends I have not seen in a long time! I was really impressed!! It was an amazing day to have my 1st
