These suckers were fast...

... and pretty tough to catch.  I had to cancel an afternoon flight with a student due to some stiff crosswinds, so I parked out at the end of the runway to watch the Air Force guys play a bit.  I also caught a shot of our Piper Seminole.  Here are the photos that worked out just ok.

T-38s: We don't see these guys to often, but today we had six or seven come in.  When they were all lined up on the ramp after their touch-and-goes, I went to go snap a shot and my battery friggin died. This first one is the best of all the T-38 shots.

I wish this one would have turned out better.  Looked good on the camera, but when I got it to the computer I was a bit disappointed.

One from the approach end.

Another one that looked better on the camera. T-1A Jayhawk.

T-38's! Cool. Not often see here!

Don't you just hate those small lcd-screens on digicams? They make even crappy shots look good. I've experienced this phenomenon often myself!

We get alot of T-38s here, im guessing there from either Vance AFB or Sheppard AFB or maybe both, fun to watch.
