All the more reason to get that fence back up - so you don't have to look at your lazy slob of a neighbor.   ;) ;D

Looks pretty bad, we had some pretty strong winds down in the west country, but nothing like what i have seen on the news, lots of lorry drivers coming a cropper on the exposed roads!!

First thing tomorrow it's getting replaced - The fence panels can be reused, they aren't actually too badly damaged :)

At least thats one bit of luck. Unfortunately the boiler also failed today. No heating or hot water >:(. And it's bloody freezing outside! (And inside now)

Regards,
Neil...... Cold and p*ssed off........

Nasty winds down here in Devon recently.  Neighbour to the left put up a new fence a while ago, with 6"X6" fence posts concreted into the ground!  On the right hand side, a regular fence, 6'5" high fence panels.....
Over the past 3 years we have had to repair/replace certain panels about 7 times, due to winds.  As a result of this, Dad put up some supports on the fence at a 45-degree angle into the ground to support.
The other day, that was ripped out!
Terrible weather recently.

I took this a day earlier than your pics, (the 30th)

Image

40+mph winds
8*F not including windchill

or
64+KPH winds
-13*C not including windchill

that mean -14*F or -25*C with windchill

and i walked a half mile to school, just to learn it was canceled (the big babies)
What do I do you ask? I struggle! Then destroy! Then try to put back together what I just broke on accident.....

i enjoy long walks on the beach, yummie thai food, and obliterating my enemy's aircraft around them with a hail of bullets from 12 .50s. and/or a 75mm cannon.
