Snuck off for some flying...

The weather hasn't been very good around here for the past couple weeks, and it's supposed to get snowy and really cold later this week, so I decided to get some flying in today, and I took my camera along.  The first three are pretty much a panorama of flying south, looking east towards Madison (in the first one), then south, then south-west.  The last one is the sunset as I was flying back home.

Thanks for looking. :)

Very nice 8-)

I got my fly-fix in on monday.  Beautiful weather.  It was fun to get out to the airport in my natural habitat.   :)

I know exactly what you mean.  I was thinking almost exactly that as I walked out of the airport tonight. :)

I've got to ask Ken, what's B/W?  I might be a little too slow...:P ;D

You would think that an enviroment with loud noises and sharp spinny things would put you on edge, but it actually puts me at ease (until I see my former boss)

I think he means Black and White. You know, no color, ;D

I'm hoping to get at least one nice winter flight in this year... you had a good day there: cold, clear, and calm from the looks of it. Nice.

I thought that's what it was.  It is pretty black and white around here in the winter sometimes.  Yesterday it was mostly black, white, and orange. ;)

And thanks for the comments guys. :)

What he meant, I think, was "those would look very good in black and white".
And I agree... although they look OK in color. Some interesting shades in the sky in those shots.

Ken will correct me but I thought he meant that snowscapes look like B/W images even when they're in colour. That's how I read his comment anyway.
