I never got around to visit some landmarks in Belgium, to practice my photography, but this weekend I was in Brussels for a day, so I took these of the Atomium. It's an Iron atom, enlarged 165 billion times and was erected in 1956, for the world Exposition. The buidling was ( and is) so popular, that it outlived it's original 6 months intended lifespan and still stands strong.
I still think this is one wicked construction...

Been up that structure, seriously cool, the lift is a marvel in it's self, 200ft/second(there or there abouts). Really nice angles on those shots, highly reccomend you take a ride in it.

Politics... elections were half a year ago and still now new government. Some people want to blow up and devide Belgium into Flanders and Wallonie ( Dutch and French speaking part of Belgium)... Don't ask... it's pretty complicated and a BIG mess at the moment...

An amazing piece of architecture.

Didn't realise it was so old though.

Ehrm... My Lumix FZ5... ( shame shame shame)
I did attend a concert later on and the EF-S 18 -55 isn't suitable for those occasions...
So I took my bridge... :)
