Mixed Bag...Horses, Cat, & A Sunset
Been awhile since I posted any photos. Haven't been taking many lately since I've pretty much been at work or trying to catch a bit of sleep before the next shift :-/ Found a couple more recent ones and then a couple I took today.
Start off with one of the barn cats...my favorite. Found a sunny spot on a piece of carpet that had been tossed out the door. Doesn't really have a name, ended up known as Fuzz Ball
...Showed up last winter, had to have been a house cat as she is spayed and de-clawed. Funny thing is even without claws she catches more mice then Lowie the other barn cat who has been there since I can remember. Friendly little thing too...sit down outside and shes right in your lap.

Next we have our latest additions...Starting from the left...Mary, Dakota, & Freddy. Actually keeping them for a friend who bought them from someone down south of Indianapolis. They have became residents over the past 2 months. Mary is a large American Quarter while Dakota and Freddy are both Indian Paints. 2 mares and a stallion. They are fairly tame except Freddy...I'm the only one who has been able to ride him and even then I've been bucked a couple times
Problem right now is keeping them de-burred. All 3 managed to find the bur bushes we haven't had a chance to hack out. Quite a mess really. Picture is a little fuzzed, its been sleeting all afternoon and theres a haze in the air. That black patch behind Mary is our bull who has been there for over a year now, quite tame but is lonely right now with no other cattle around.

Close up of Freddy awhile back when we kept them stalled at night...Fence had to be finished before we turned them out in the pasture. Hes friendly with a temper. Can be your friend one minute and send you flying the next :-/

And the sunset...was taken a long time ago, not sure when
All I know is it was a lot warmer then it is now

It drives our other, inside-only cat absolutely insane though. He would get his tail handed to him if we ever let him outside. He's a little too 'fluffy'.
