I was pretty busy on this last Champ flight, so I didn't take many pictures. But I like these...

Climbing out of Borrego Valley, headed west.


     


After turning SW from Warner Valley. Through the open window... how cool is that!

     


Right about here we spied a KC-130 refueling two choppers just above my altitude- didn't get a decent picture, but it's on the video... thanks, Rich!





One of the bigger and scarier pictures of Yours Truly, but seemed like a good idea at the time.

Some of the best flying I've done in ages, fun-wise... hasta la vista, old girl...  :'(

     

Aviator glasses are always nice 8-)

Isn't it the same old story!!  You go away, meet a nice girl, have a great time with her and then have to leave her behind with just the memories in you heart!!!

They are actually visible in that image, but even zoomed in they're blurry. Eventually I'll post a still or two from the tape- got a better look at them with the camcorder.

It was a ways SE of Pendleton and they continued south; I suspect they were fueling up after the display at Miramar, and were possibly on their way to Imperial Beach, although there's usually no activity there on weekends.
