Was driving past ( ;)) Shawbury this morning so just stopped by for a moment or two

I like the RAF 412 is that what it is???

They're in storage at Shawbury, and I assume going off to Wattisham like the others that flew out previously, these may be being kept for spares. This mail came out on a spotters group which I am on....

The Bell is essentially a 412, but in RAF style we call it a Griffin instead

They might have come back from Afghanistan or somewhere? anyways thats just another 2 apaches to keep me awake at night ::)

I think the Ramy (or even the ARMY!)  may have had an Apache manpower problem at one point, hence some aircraft being delivered straight into storage!
