The smaller ones were taken with the camcorder... poor quality, but worth showing.
1957 Thunderbird; 17th place in Group 4.
This '58 Corvette did better; came in 5th in Group 4.
This 1965 Alfa Romeo GTA placed 7th in Group 5.
A 1962 Ginetta G4R; 5th place.
Some more familiar production types, racing for keeps in Group 5.
This 1957 Alfa Romeo Gulietta came in 6th in Group 4...
Well ahead of this 1957 Corvette, which placed 15th.
One of the main reasons I had to attend these races was the chance to see a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa on the track... this masterpiece placed 20th in Group 3. Can't blame the driver for holding back a little... this machine is worth over a million dollars.
