Not much variety of angles here, I know... i just tried to find a good place where I could get clear shots when the cars weren't going too fast. Panning to follow them usually resulted in a shot of a light pole or someone's head... ::)

First, some random groupings, from the various races (which were separated chronologically)...I can't ID most of these, so I'll leave that to you guys. Some gorgeous autos, and some pretty intense racing!!

I don't know much about the sport, very little in fact, but are they all mainly kit cars?  I noticed a couple of 'vettes in shot three.  Like the photos by the way.  8-)

What a wonderful variety of cars which go fast, turn left, and can turn right too !

Great shots Sean but, you needed to get more of the Mustang in shot one or any other Stang and a close up picture of the Hudson Hornet!!!  Love the Hornet!!!!  Oh, I also hope you got some shots of some Cobra's that I'm sure were there!!!!!

Sorry to be so demanding but, I love the vintage car races!!!!!
Old school is the best school!!!!!

Take it easy... there is a lot more to come. ;)

There was a small group near me in the stands that cheered wildly every time that Hudson went by... it was funny. It hauls ass on the straightaways, but wallowed like a wounded whale in the turns... :o
It came in 12th, out of a field of 18 or so.

None of them are kits or replicas. Some of these gems are worth millions, which is half the excitement of watching them race. ;D

A lot of British classics there if I'm not mistaken. I can also see a Maserati & Porsche. Reminds me of the good ol' days at Goodwood in the 50's - early 60's.

Sorry but to me that Hudson looks completely out of place.

Yea, it may look out of place but, it sure looks cool!!!

And if anything tangled with it out there I'm sure they would be on the losing end!!  ;D

Is that an Austin Healey in shot 6  8-) I'll take two please  ;D

The trident grill badge in the last shot gives it away as a Maserati, but don't ask me which one  ::)

A few Lotus (Loti?) mixed in there too?

Great stuff Sean, thanks
