Never seen one of these before: a Douglas Skywarrior, aka "Whale".

Another new one to me: Lockheed S-3 Viking.

It was very hard to get decent photos belowdecks, but here's a few good ones... first, a control station in the boiler room. The docent in charge there had spent quite some time down there when Intrepid was in service, and he had a lot to say about the huge 500-lb. steam-turbine system use to propel the ship.

The officers' wardroom was fancier, but I decided to post this pic of the "dirty shirt" room instead. ;D
Not bad, really...

One of the best things about this museum is that for the most part you get the feeling that the crew is there somewhere- not much has been changed.

Man, what a job, is this listed on your benefits package, Sight-seeing all different citys in the USA.   ;D

Now lets see, this year you have been to Bilouxi, San Diego , Oshkosh, Chicago. Am I missing any? Man, What a job.
