Getting to the bottom of the small pile I pulled from my hundreds of vintage statics...

Let's start with a riveting  Stinson visiting from Canada... wow.

Image

Not sure what they wanted for this fine Cessna 120, but now that I've tasted taildragger flight I have been thinking (casually) about buying one (or its sister with flaps, the 140). ;D

Image

But it's hard to resist all the really good 150s out there,  technically a better type and usually better-equipped... and in the same price range.. This is an older 150, and a real top-notch one.

Image

Another sweet 120... slow, adverse yaw-ish, not much useful load... but very economical and just more fun-looking. ;D

Something completely different: the last Beech Staggerwing ever built.

Cub yellow with a twist of sky blue... This beauty won a special prize for customization (I think) this year.

I usually am disappointed with "Stars and Stripes" paint schemes, but this super Cub has it just right. ;D

But a Cub looks best in "Cub yellow"... ;D

Thanks for looking & commenting; glad you guys liked these.

Nice shots Sean, I am going to have to hang with you more often next year, I didn't get to see half of what you did. Mark

Nice again,

Not sure what they wanted for this fine Cessna 120, but now that I've tasted taildragger flight I have been thinking (casually) about buying one (or its sister with flaps, the 140).

aah,  you don't need flaps,  just slip it,  she'll  plop down anyware you want her.

I didn't realize AA was flying GA now.  Great shots.
