San Diego waterfront

Went wandering around the other day... some pictures:


Wow! This is something: a steam-powered yacht, the Medea, launched in 1904.

The US revenue cutter Californian, a mid-1980s replica, fires her saluting cannon. That's the USS Ronald Reagan in the background... she's here visiting. ;)

The fabulous Star of India, moored with sails out  because she sails regularly.

Those are some big windows on that sub!!  Do they have screens to keep the bugs and fish out?? :D

Nice shots Sean.  The Medea was on dirty jobs last season.  Cleaning out the boilers is a very dirty job. :D ;)
