The way the trip started........
A week or so ago, I posted a view of the base at Comox from where I departed.......after a quick turn out over the Straight of Georgia, we pass over the Coastal Range of mountains and then off to the Rockies........not much difference really, all beautiful as the eye can only take in so much........here's a bit of a look.........
Moving inland from the west coast......snowcaps and all.......

Passing over the end of the Rockies and letting down for Calgary.....

Just before clearing the mountains and taking on the lowlands of the plains, we saw a golf course nestled in the last valley of the Rockies........must be spectacular views there .........

Final into Calgary with the threshold only seconds away........

After departing and back at altitude, there were numerous cloud formations to make Kris happy.....

And how about this shot from the headrest in front of me....not bad for a bird which advertises a cruise speed of 540 mph.........ground track speed here indicates a very favourable 90+ tailwind !
