Garden Copters

Not much in the way of fixed wing aircraft seems to pass over our area ..... on the other hand those of the rotary variety are plentyful..... although they seem to be at high altitude for the most part.

Here's 3 that were low enough to get a reasonable shot.

A Robinson R22/44 ?

Chinook ........ the second time this week I've seen one ..... the first time I didn't have the camera ::) ::) It would have been a much closer shot as it flew overhead with the cargo ramp down.

EC-135 T2 ..... East Midlands Air Ambulance .... the second time this week I've seen this aircraft .... as before no camera and a much better photo opportunity.

Nice pictures.
The rate Robinson's are falling from the sky lately, the old joke of, anyone can own one, buy a small plot and wait will soon apply.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Good shots, the first ones a R-44 as it has the longer cockpit area because it has 4 seats, the R-22 only has 2 seats ;)
