Patience really pays off

Postby Craig. » Wed Aug 01, 2007 3:42 pm

Well today myself and 61-Otu headed off into wales and to the mach loop. It was a great if somewhat quiet day, including a 4 hour no show period, which we later found out was thanks to a crop sprayer. It was all however worth for the final run through of the day. Thanks to 61 for the company, and I'm sure he'll post more shots later, I hope so at least, but these are some of my better efforts.

Wot? No VC10s?

Glad to see that you had some traffic. That would have been a real bummer if that CANP had been all day as crop sprayers often are... :-?

Just out of shear curiosity, where were you when you took those shots?  I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that part of the world.  Excellent shots!

'Mach Loop' Low-Flying Area LFA-7(T)
North-Wales, United Kingdom

Its full name is the 'Machynlleth Loop' and my guess is its near the village of Machynlleth

Excellent stuff from both of you Craig. [smiley=thumbsup.gif] Glad it worked out. Shame I wasn't able to join you.
