:-[ Not really no.....I was playing with shutter speed to get some good prop blur, and managed it fantastically well :).......along with wing blur, fuselage blur, tail blur.....roundel blur...... :(

One came out 'interesting', if not good, I'll post it in a bit if I can overcome the shame

I did much better here than I did at Duxford. I was mightily depressed with my efforst after the Flying Legends show......

For these shots I managed to get to the closest corner of the fence to where the aircraft were landing, no one was closer. I was shooting with the light behind me as the aircraft approached, and I mainly kept it really simple with the settings. As a result I got many more hits than Duxford. I think I got about a 15% hit ratio for sharp shots, which though not great is way better than Duxford was.

I need to practice more with slower shutter speeds, so as to blur the background a little, but all in all it was thoroughly enjoyable day.....

Am I happy with the camera? Unequivocally........the only problem is that it's making me lust after bigger and faster lenses ::) ;D

The BBMF Spitfire went back to Coningsby via the cricket at Trent Bridge - Aggers on Test Match Special on Radio 4 had a nice conversation on air with OC BBMF as he was doing his flypasts. :)
