I tried some pics of this one a while ago, but they were too soft. Here is another try (in reduced size) which I've just uploaded to Anet, have to see how I get on, in the meantime this is a beautiful Luscombe 8E Silvaire which lives at Sleap (EGCV) and I just missed it completing a flight test on Wednesday.

I had a brief chat with the owner who invited me over to get some clearer pics, and take a shot inside.

Lovely guy, he's owned it from 1989, and believe it or not he says it doesn't take too much cleaning! He was off to give the underside a scrub and taxied right past me, but the sun had gone in and none of the shots came out very well

By rights these ought to get in to Anet. Why? Because they are both fantastic!! The lighting is spot-on, they're clear, crisp, sharp, uncluttered yet interesting...

Congrats!

Hmm... I hate to spoil things, but judging the clouds, I might think there might be a bit to much contrast... Could also be the screen I'm watching it on and I do hope you can proove me wrong!

Great plane!  :)

That first one looks a little overexposed...I'd like to see the full size if I could....

The cockpit one has more chance...maybe a slight darkening would help

The key issue is noise/sharpening/softness which cant be determined from these pics....but it can almost always be fixed...

PS...as I said above a large version of 1 would be nice :)

I don't know if this will work, but this is the link to the upload queue:

give it a go.

I wasn't going to try with the cockpit shot, this one was with flash and looks too harsh. The one without flash seems a little fuzzy as it was into the light of the windscreen, so I'll try again another time
