Just a few snappity-snaps from my flight home Monday night... no pix from Atlanta-to-Newark, as it was quite dark by the time I finally got out of Atlanta.

My flight out of KGPT was delayed an hour (coming in from KATL)... these two pics, taken about 1/2 hour apart, show why...

Spotted, literally, from a mile away: some interesting "junk" they have lying around here. ;D

A DeltaConn C-600 gets pushed back.... so where is MY plane?!

Here she is... finally.

Rolling onto Rwy 14... here we go!

A last look at Biloxi, MS (that's Keesler AFB there in the middle)... home, please!

Next: part 2- clouds

Mother nature twitches, and we get out of the way  :o

Ever flown a 172 anywhere near (or into) stuff like that ?

I skirted the edge of some level 2-3 stuff at night, once, in the Cardinal..  had the nose pitched down 20 degrees and I was still climbing at 2000 fpm...

Nope. The scary-looking vertical cumuli around there are not so bad; flown fairly close to them before. But this was a big storm cell (or group of cells).

Wee!!  ;D

Not. ::)
