Pesky little birds these Swallows.

If you want to build the perfect fighter then the flight model from one of these would be exactly what you're looking for, fast manouverable and almost impossible to photograph.

I got some though.

I've given up on these birdies... they are fast and nearly impossible to get them framed in a decent way ( and/or sharp)...

You managed quite well!

I initially attempted to video them but kept loosing them out of the frame ..... Switched the camera to Sport settings and snapped away  I must have 20+ shots of grass in various blurred states ...... and 6 shots of birds of which these 3 were useable.

This is what ridiculously long lenses and short shutter speeds are for
