So about the MKI, did it do any kulbits, cobras? And I always wonder why the Il-76 and Il-78 have the glazed noses.

They weren't display pilots. The pilots were here for an exercise and were kind enough to let us see them takeoff and break to land. Any more than that they weren't cleared for.

It's called Exercise 'Indra Dhanush', and yes that's the general gist of it although I'm unsure if the Hawks of 100 are involved. The Five 25(F) Squadron F3s were already at Waddington for the show weekend and began sorties with IAF the Monday after the show.

Su30MKI in fact. ;) As I recall the normal Su30s don't have canards...

Well I won't be surprised when the Air Ministry is shaking and dropping tea cups ;D due to the MKIs kills over the F.3s. But that is what they get for not using 111 or 56 squadron. Hey didn't 111 intercept a Bear-D not too long ago?

Something wrong with 25 and 43 Squadron? Let's not forget, 56 is a reserve squadron.
