... Trent 1000 Boeing 747 Testbed.  These are the photos I shot during the first test flight about a week ago.  There are better shots and video on the RR website.  The link is posted below my pics.  It is quite obvious which engine is the Trent 1000.  It hangs only 24 inches above the ground!  RR developed the engine to be used on the Boeing 787.  The image quality is not as great as I would like it to be b/c I had to compress them quite a bit to comply with the forum upload sizes.
