Diversions

Postby Aerophile » Tue Jul 03, 2007 12:03 am

Several aircraft, an American Airlines MD-82 and Eagle ERJ 145s as well as pair of Champion Air B727-200s (the Eagle Saabs are regulars), were diverted to the Waco Regional Airport due to bad weather at DFW.  While my student was executing assigned missed approach procedures, I managed to snap a few shots.  Its nothing great really, just something I don't see very often.  If you're really bored (as I am right now), feel free to leave a comment; otherwise, go on with your meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Taken while on our way to the initial approach fix (it almost looks like a real airport down there)

The rest of these were taken a few minutes later while we were executing our missed approach instructions...

I used that DeLorean that I showed a picture of in one of my other photo posts to travel to the future and then I brought it back here.  The good news is FSXI is Vista compatible.  My computer that I have now won't support the Windows OS that they're using two years from now.  And computers two years from now are way to expensive.  I spent most of my money buying plutonium for the DeLorean.  :D
