The airshow portion of the great weekend...
My dad and I went to the Wings of the Wisconsin Dells Airshow a the Baraboo-Dells airport on Saturday, and I must say, for such a small event, it was one of the best airshows I'd ever been to. I got a few pictures, but they're only with a dinky little camera, so they're not the greatest, but they get the point across.
A nice Luscombe, my dad is reading the name plate on the rudder...

A Corsair that flew later on in the show...

The show portion started with a nice Decathlon performance, then this Extra 300L did one of the most amazing airshow performances I've seen...

But the best performance went to this Yak-52, here he's doing an inverted pass...
.jpg)
And the most amazing thing, this low pass was within a foot of the runway, even the announcer was speechless...
.jpg)
During one portion of the show, the Yak flew out over the cornfields, below the tree tops, and behind these two trees!
...

A new one for me, this F-117 did three fly-bys...
.jpg)
The loudest performance of the day was an F/A-18 tactical demonstration, which included three 600 kt low passes 8-), of which I have no pictures, because I was way too busy watching
, but the Hornet did a heritage flight with the Corsair to end the show...

All in all, not bad for an airport with a 4800 x 75 ft runway in the middle of nowhere in Wisconsin. Thanks for looking.
