Okay some more.
I liked this shot in full size, doesn't come across to good here, but the darkness is offset by the light reflecting off it.

Mclaren engine starting to go boom, went at maggots apparently brought the session to a halt.

Timo Glock and the fun to watch bmw

If you look carefully the ferrari's grown new ears infront of the driver

Thanks. I really do recommend it if you have the time. Next year should be the same.

Was this the session reported earlier in the week when lots of people turned up only to be disappointed that P de la R was driving the McLaren?

Nice selection of shots Craig, probably better than the last ones from last year...

Indeed it was, I am guessing he was held up or something because they were saying on the commentary that they were still expecting him up till about 11:15. I didn't care to much, dont like Alonso personally and as I said elsewhere, in these sessions you could have shoved PDLR in the car with Alonso's helmet and nobody would have been able to tell the differance.
I'd have to say it was much better than last year, Ferrari and BMW being there mainly helping it. But it is a shame the new testing rules mean they can only bring 1 car to the tests.

Hmmm... didn't know those F1s were suitable for off-roading. ;D

Great shots- love that Ferarri!

OTher than the paint and decals, they all look to me like the same cars!

Ahh.. would it not that they go back to the days when the drivers wer fat and the tires were skinny!  You cold tell a Ferrari-Lancia from a Mercedes; A Maserati 250F screaming around Monza....; then they had to go put the engines in the back and wings...

(Nice shots, though... I like these better than "magazine"  photos....)

Quite. The number of aero devices now sprouting from F1 cars are rediculous. Its about time they were regulated back to being only on the front and rear wings. Sadly the news this week is not good, with active-aero (speed variable devices) expected by the the turn of the decade. I would prefer a back to basics approach. Give them normal slicks back too, considering the grooved tyres we're brought in to "slow" cornering speeds...

Beautiful shots Craig! Dare I ask what sort of camera you were using (I know first hand it is hard to capture fast moving cars without blur).
