Posted: Fri Jun 15, 2007 4:42 pmI use the Canon Powershot A95. The bad quality is because the soom isn't very good and I wasn't allowed any closer to the airport.

Posted: Fri Jun 15, 2007 4:51 pmNice landscape opportunity with the Southwest 737 and ExpressJet ERJ 145. Good effort on the one with the 737 on departure from behind the ALS. I know it can be hard when you're taking pictures of an airplane going +/- 140 kts on approach, but try to center the subject a little better. Otherwise, not too bad for your first time out. The first camera I used was a Canon 35mm and the pictures came didn't come out as well as yours believe it or not.

Posted: Fri Jun 15, 2007 5:50 pmYou definitely need a better camera, or maybe lay off the zoom a bit and use cropping to bring the planes "closer"... you've got an eye for composition, that's for sure. :)

Think its cool to see some shots with a cool backdrop, unlike all the boring plane+blue sky ones which we see so many of, even if they are 'quality' :)
