RAF Cosford Air Show 10/6/07

Well, you'll already have seen some shots from Cosford, so you'll know what the weather was like for most of the show. As we drove up there was a 600' cloud base, and 2km visibility. This improved during the day, and we actually got some sunburn in the afternoon allowing a full display by Peter Teichmann's P-40 and the 2Excel Extra 300's. For the most part however it was low cloud, and hazy......oh well

Not bad at all. :) I'd have been particularly pleased with doing that well on the Hawk in those conditions!

Thanks chaps.

If I was a hacker though, then this would be an example of a brute force attack. I simply kept taking shots and hoped for the best  ;D

There was a little application of science following some very useful tips from others, but essentially I used the continuous shooting mode and a large memory card to see what I could capture  ::)

I agree with the others. I would have been very pleased with these. ;)

Excellent shots!!

The only good thing about bad weather is that you get some great vapor shots!! 8-)

 Great job!!

The vaportrails make the Typhoon llok amazing! Aweful weather perhaps, but you'd never have taken a shot like this in clear blue skies...  ;)

Nice Shots Steve, what camera did you end up getting? And did you use it for these posts? Mark

Hi Mark, I got the 400d in the end, but just went for the kit lens and the 90-300 EF. The bank balance wouldn't stretch any further
