Does spotting actually become boring if you only get to see one airline and one type of aircraft (except that nice Dakota)?

It gets boring when you only see Airliners full stop.

Where was that Dakota heading? Was it Biggin Hill? I think I saw it yesterday as it flew just outside the MATZ at RAF Syerston whilst I was gliding. In the morning brief we had been told that there is the possibility of aircraft flying low level in the area down to Biggin Hill for the airshow, and this Dakota was headed south easterly at around 500 feet. Possible?
