This year was also the very first Ercoupe fly-in at Antwerp. This vintage plane is disappearing fast and those who love it want to bring it back to our attention, before it's to late.

There were 6 ercoupes, although one was actually a Mooney 10 ( Ercoupe with Mooney tail) and that model + the only exsisting Belgian model were placed in such a way that it was impossible to take a decent picture... a shame!

A German example, yet painted in US-army livery...

Bright and yellow...

This Swedish participant got a very warm welcome by one of the crewmembers... it's quite the trip in such a small plane!

A British gentleman/pilot brough in another gorgeous model... those little engines snor so nice...

It's a funny shape at start, but I kinda liked it...

Cheers,

Omag

They're slow and have very little range or useful load, but they're very affordable and easy to fly.
And you can fly an Ercoupe with the windows rolled down and your elbow in the breeze. ;D

Thanks for sharing- never seen so many 'coupes in one place except at Oshkosh!  :o
