Some "Bugeye" for you.

Seeing the Sprite in Cory's thread made me want to go and fire up my dad's Austin Healey. It hasn't been run since late September of last year, and it definitely had a tough time cranking over. As I get bigger, it gets tougher and tougher to get behind that steering wheel. ;D

Nice car, After seeing the front shot, I think Dougs Comment that they call it frogeyes in UK makes more sense than bugeyes.

It's cars like these that make me wonder if the people in the UK were like 1 m shorter, 50 years ago... I mean, these cars are sooo small... yet beautiful!  :)

Thanks guys. It doesn't fare too well in cold weather. It has trouble starting and so on. Like I said, even today it was 70

Wow... that's a nice one. Looks great in red!

You really should turn it over more often... at least once a month. Water vapor can get in the engine and cause corrosion if you don't move the oil around a bit once in a while. Not to mention the problems due to letting the fuel sit like that for so long.

Look at that cute little face... doesn't she deserve better? ;D

Besides, just sitting in there and blipping that little engine (once it's warmed up) is good for you... ;D

Nice to see a classic car in a good condition, even 'though it's not the best looking one. ;)

Are those Ferris Bueller's fingerprints all over that ride?

I sat there with a big 'ol sh*t-eating grin on my face as I sat there and let it idle. Too bad it's not as throaty. Although having a hemi in a car that size would be a bit odd. :P

Lol, wasn't that a Ferrari? Still nice though. ;)
