Nice catch on the Evergreen seven-four. I've been hoping to catch "947" one of these days. :)

After farther examination the line has both C-17's and C-5's in it!!

So we were both correct!! ;)

James, I watched Evergreen "947" taxiing back and fourth and I was licking my chops waiting!! ;D

Not sure where you're seeing a C-17 in that line-up, but each empennage I see there is the same as the one in the foreground and that's a Galaxy.......each nose section is the same height and profile..........Galaxy again .......? ?  :-?

In any event, a nice shot of a heavy lifter line-up....... ;D

I counted at least ten of the heavies. I thought the one in the far background (with its nose out ahead of the others) was a C-5 and the ones in the front were C-17s. In any event, that's a whole lot o' aluminum there...

The defining area on the C-17/C-5 question pertaining to the empennage, is the junction of the lead edge of the fin and horizontal stab.......very different if you can get a similar viewing angle.........

Is it just me, or is Number 6 on board that C130?

Spot the similarity
