Some Sun...Some Clouds...

Been digging through the thousands of pictures stored on my overloaded hardrive.  Came across a few I thought I'de post.

Thursday's sunset.  

Todays storm rolling in.  At least there was a little break in the clouds.

June 15th, 2006.  Taken at my grandparents after a storm.

October 2nd 2006.  Actualy taken off the roof of my friends home as we layed the last few shingles.  That was probably the 2nd worst storm of the year.  The worst was in the middle of June as we layed sheeting for the second floor.  Still looking for the photos of that scary night.  Dark red sky with lightning streaking over our heads.  Then there was a tornado we watched go through a field about a mile or so away.

And back up on the roof after it blew through.  Interesting cloud formations.  To give you an Idea how high this house sets...note the top of the barn :-/

Clouds are amazing... they come in so many varieties and forms! Amazing! Just keep your eyes on the skies and be surprised...

If you guys like clouds so much, look into theMorning Glory cloud formation which occurs only in northern Australia......and only at a certain time of the year. This vid is all about clouds and flying in its purest form.....As this "wave" of a cloud rolls in from the sea, hang glider pilots catch the wave and "surf" their way inland for miles..........yes indeed, in fact you can be carried hundreds of miles if you have the will and confidence.......

Clouds are about the most scenic thing around here other then corn fields
