General impression: Nice museum, but impossible to take good pics inside.
The operating aircraft in the outside area are the main attraction after the 747

All indoor pics have contrast enhanced to make a little more detail visible

Connie was inside as they were putting new engines on

Uiver was not displayed outside as it was damaged a few months ago.

Hidden treasures in the repair hangar... Ju-52

And the An-2 parked..

Maybe the analog cam gave better pictures... but have to wait for the film to get developed.

Planes on active display that day:
An-2
F-27 (runups only)
Neptune (being prepared when we left)
Fouga (was on active ramp but didnt fly...)

Unfortunately this is often the case. However, the aircraft are better preserved in they are indoors, so I'd rather take the fact the photography is a pain.

Great stuff! I was lucky enough to see an AN-2 fly once at the Sussex, NJ airshow... it's quite the beast. ;D

Hope PH-AJU  gets well soon! ;D

I think the pics are OK, despite the difficulty... I've had similar problems: for example, with the wide-andgle lens on my camera, I can't use the flash successfully half the time...::)

To shoot stuff like that you simply have to have external lights or flash units, preferably very bright ones.
