Yes indeed, it was a Stearman, but not just an ordinary one, ......a Super Stearman ! !

Who would miss this opportunity, if presented.......I know that if any of the enthusiasts from here had a chance, they would try to take along everyone else, I was so busy taking shots for everyone, I knew I would miss a chance at the stick, but, there may be another day.......... ........you never know ...


It's just so darned hard not to smile in a place like this, on a day like this........

Blast it, Ken, you didn't have to take pictures the whole time... how could you not have taken control even for a few turns?  
It's very do-able... I managed both on both of my RV-4 flights ("just don't drop the camera in the stick well, or we'll have a little problem...")

But it's OK... I'd have to really despise you if you got to fly that beauty. If you ever get the chance, I don't wanna hear about it.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys......it is real nice to know that everyone had a good time along with me.........I had a blast but couldn't let you miss it while I had all the fun............ 8-)

From the time I flew in a Piper Vagabond with Hal and took the stick for half of the flight including the landing, I still feel bad that all I have is a memory 'cause somebody forgot to have a camera at his side........

What's the engine on that... colors look like PZL factory finish to me
