Air Fest 2007 - part 1!
Posted: Sat Mar 31, 2007 6:10 pmA day of frustration... quite a bit of fuss getting in (long, boring story), and my camera almost forced me to smash it on the tarmac today... but I toughed it out, knowing y'all would never forgive me... 
Got some outstanding shots today, but I have to get ready for dinner now, so here's some morsels to whet your appetite.
Mighty MacDill AFB opens its doors, for free, today and tomorrow... welcome!!!
Tons (literally) of static marvels, most open for inspection:

I was wandering the flight line, trying to get some good snaps before the crowd thickened, so
I missed the little RC display. but here are some of the performers on the flight line:
The show began with a dirty pass by one of the base KC135s...
Then a repeat of the C-130 drop I saw yesterday.
