These are pretty good for a first attempt. Not bad at all. Shame about the weather but you caught some nice effects there. I'll leave any technical advice to others more capable than me.
Modern airliners don't do a lot for me I'm afraid. I like the runway shots best. #2 in this topic. Very nice.

Good work........constructively though :
Try using spot metering for the shots where you have a large area of open sky around your subject or the average on the entire shot will make your subject appear dark with a normally exposed sky area........you want better exposure of the plane and not so much of the brightness around a poorly lighted subject..........
Keep shooting........you're only just starting ........
