Quite like the first shot, and the Yak is a good catch.

Nothing special but I need the practice. Hope you like 'em.

I hope you take it as a compliment Doug, because the sharpness on these is (I think) noticeably better than your early shots with the new camera. The practice has obviously paid off. Can you tell me which 300mm lens you have, and would you recommend it?

The last one suffered a bird strike on the way to Shobdon, and had to turn back for repairs to the wing(s)... ...!
...(the aircraft's wings, not the bird's wings......)...!!

I love those TwinStars, but it's true that it looks "funny", except from head-on or above or below.
