And on we go.

Royal Albert Hall. Amazingly older than the guys usually performing in it. xD
Image

Westminster Abbey. Just walked past to avoid those usual two synonyms for London tourism...."Queue" and "Rip-off".
Image

Downing Street. Tony seems to have some serious popularity issues!  :o
Image

Who needs stuff like the Blue Man Group and IMAX if you can see something typically english? "Much ado about nothing", performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company. Even 'though the actors sometimes dug too way too deep into their english accents, the piece was very, very good.

Speaking of "Shake's beer", here's the replica (?) of the Globe Theatre right on the bank of the Thames. As you can see, the weather was...unsurprisingly rainy. Especially since that day started out perfectly with lots of sun and a clear blue sky.

I can hear you screaming for more...

I've performed in the Royal Albert Hall, in the dim and distant past. It has a horrible acoustic only slightly improved by the upside down mushrooms hung from the dome.

I used to play Violin, firstly in youth orchestras then as a semi professional for several small theatre pit orchestras.

The main youth orchestra that I played in was invited to play at the School's Proms. The School's Proms are the same as the regular proms but as stated it's for youth orchestras/bands etc and it only runs for a week. We were invited to play after winning a youth orchestra competition which had been hosted at the Royal Festival Hall (home of the London Philharmonic Orchestra), another hall with a terrible acoustic which has to be electronically enhanced.

So there you go ..... story told.  ;D
