Mach 24 vehicle. It's intended to be something like a flying engine.
You create a plasma flame and the whole vehicle can fly within the burning plasma without any friction. Flame created at the tip.

The mach 24....doesn't seem possible.  I mean, I don't know anything about it, but it seems unlikely that you could safely move people in something traveling in a plasma trail.

That's a very cool couple of sets of pictures Fabian, I especially like this second set.  That Mach 24 vehicle would be amazing to see in flight, if only...8-)

The space shuttle travels in a plasma trail every time it re-enters the atmosphere. ;)

Ya, but thats only for a short time period and its covered in ceramic tiles.  Going mach 24 in a plasma trail seems dangerous.  Not to mention impractical, youd only go mach 24 for two seconds before slowly decending
