oooooh...its the sweb helicopter...G-OHMS!

Sorry I couldnt make it...I didn't manage to scab a lift to the airport...maybe another time ;)

A quick hint.....go right up to the fence and try to get rotation shots....makes it a bit more interesting to have a background other then sky.....just stick the little lens through one of the holes in the fence. You may get some blurred bars in a few of the shots but it doesnt matter. Also have a go at cropping them...A 6MP camera should produce decent enough quality to be able to crop the original so the plane fills most of the picture, before resizing to 800px wide. For example on the easyjet one have a go...remember to use the full size original mind you ;).

A very good first attempt with limited photographic equipment.....most photographers start off with a camera like that so no need to apologise for quality...the more you practice the better you get and the more you save up the better equipment you get ;)  8-)

PS...whats the reg on the BAe 146 Brussels airlines?

for both mic and fs.
With fences just put your camera really close and it will focus out the links completely.

These are nice shots especially for a first time out.

Thanks for the advice regarding the fence. The only issue where i was standing is another smaller fence and the gap between this fence and the main airport fence is seriously barbed barbed wire. I wasnt going to tempt getting any closer!!! ::) ::)

Looks like you enjoyed it anyway. Not bad at all. Shame the weather wasn't better. When are you going back? ;)

Move along a little bit further....it gets better ;)

craig...It depends on the lens.....if the lens is a long telephoto the fence goes completely...however, if the lens is at 55mm (I know from experience ;)) You get semi opaque black lines going through some pictures :D
