Good morning Tampa...
I was just plain bushed after dinner last night; turned in early and got up before dawn. Decided to head over to the little park by the bay to look around and take some pictures...it was pretty damn cold (mid-40s), but very pretty. Lots of birds...
The pelican... his beak can hold more than his belly can.

No egrets... no, wait- there's one... looks like this fellow's a little crabby before that first minnow of the day.

A pelican in flight- I failed to catch them doing what they do best: gliding in ground effect. They're masters of slow flight, just amazing.
A pelican looks on with obvious disdain as a competing anhinga dries his wings after a long underwater patrol...
Drove up to Knight (KTPF) just for a peek and saw this blimp sleeping by the fence... ready for some fun in the sun.
