PS B25 coming on, but slowly. Bit the bullet and ditched the engines it came with and went brushless.............got a major pain in the wallet for my efforts  :'(

I made a model (just display) for science fair using styrofoam and found that I'm really good at it!  Is it possible to use styrofoam to make flying models?

The best foam to make flying models is a product called "Elopor". It is very strong and flexible. Also if dented, with careful application of hot water you can pull the dents out.
Styrofoam can be used, but it requires sealing. If you scratch build I would go with Elopor, but that is one persons opinion only.

In all of the pictures it looks like a professionally made kit. I take my hat off, you friend has done a great job. The markings are superbly applied.

A little further info on the 16" wingspan Depron Panther.........

Motor is a 7mm pager with a 3.3 ohm resistance turning a 1 inch internal dia. fan for 7.8 gms of thrust....supplied by a 220 mah Atomic Li-po single cell with a 17C discharge rate.....controlled by a Plantraco receiver sending signals to two .4 gm actuators, one each moving elevator and rudder through push rods.......

RTF weight is 26 gms in this configuration.......

Although he sent me a vid of it flying, he asked me not to upload it until he has one of it flying to his satisfaction.........
