Ok...a few more shots, sorry, I couldn't help myself.....

Mig 15....lousy positioning of the information board IMNSHO  >:(

The Victor, Meteor and Canberra, further lousy info board positioning, this would otherwise be a nice shot of the Victor

F111 - this was hanging around outside last time I saw it

Sabre F4

My favourite two planes in the museum, ok, so they're not from the cold war exhibit, but what would I give to see these two in the air together?

great shots.
Planning on heading there next sunday. I see that even with the time to plan they still pack em in tightly. ::)

Not quite so bad as the American Air Museum at Duxford though  ;)

At least with the smaller planes being suspended you manage to get in between them a bit. Cosford has always felt a bit restricted to me, as if the planes were at arms length. At least here you get in amongst them.

The majority of these shots are from the new hanger.
It opened on 8/2/07.

One of our admirable collection of captured Luftwaffe types. If only we'd kapt all of them - they could make a museum all to themselves!

Yeah well, that's a typical case of "not thinking about the future".
