Omag Construction LTD
I've been a bit absent from these forums lately, because of my weekend construction project...
My first self-designed, self-placed gizmo... a dry place for my firewood...
The idea is to make it look like my gardenshed, and not tacky...
It may not look that complicated, but let me tell you one thing... it was a great experience, and I'm quite happy with it...
Last weekend I cleared the building area, dug holes for the posts, attached the sidepanels and constructed the roof-frame

On friday, my girlfriend applied a coating to the main structure.
Yesterday I placed the roof-plates, nailed them down firmly and started construction of the "ornamental"-frame, which hides the tilting gulfplates of the roof.
Today I placed the last pieces of wood and secured the whole construction...
Now I still have to coat the timber I placed today and put a floor of concrete tiles down in the shed...
I'm having a blast! Doing this all by myself gives me great satisfaction. Though it might not be "perfect", I'm very proud of what I've done... certainly as I have little or no experience in construction...
Cheers,
Omag
