RAAF C-17 and F-111

Hey Guys,
here are some shots that my dad took down in ipswich of the new C-17 and the old f-111, the qualities not real good due to extensive zoom but oh well enjoy ;)

ha! good luck with that plan, that f-111 is probably the only one to have flown out of the entire sqaudron for 6 months, ;D its a shame because they are such beautiful machines......... they just crash to much :'(

OK. CSM. Give me the, RAAF airbase name and how many C-17s are stationed there and WHEN they are stationed there. Instead of school camp I plan on persuading my mum into a trip to Queensland. [smiley=evil.gif] But it is great to see that big old girl in RAAF markings...however I saw it as being a little more...colourful. Like the 1970's RAAF C-130s. ;)

ha colorful, i think the c-17 would look a lil bit funny with markings like the old aermachi or something like that, and its at Amberley theres only one of them and its there doing a transition course for the next 6 months or so i think

yeah i saw that on the news last night excersise red flag, it really does suprise me that they would send them over there, im pretty sure its just over 6 months ago one of those pigs had to make a wheels up landing at amberley, good to see her flying again though
