Bloody fantastic shots, Craig.. ;D...!

I usually have loads of assorted wild birds in my garden all the year... :)...!

...trubble is...

We now have had to stop feeding them to prevent the increase of the Rat population of our area...:o...

..Bugger... >:(...!

Previously, the reason we had so many beautiful garden birds was because all we neighbours always regularly fed, and encouraged them...

...no longer....I'm afraid....Bloody Rats... >:(...!

Paul...missing the birds... :'(...!

You need some cats, or maybe some rat terriers. ;D

LOL! How I forgot that cats are superb bird-bunters, I don't know... oh, right... i'm an idiot. :D

In that case, a dog is the answer. Dogs aren't too interested in birds, but they like to go after rodents, and even a big rat will be reluctant to enter an area marked with a dog's scent.

I had a serious squirrel problem in the house I lived in briefly a while back, but once I fenced in the yard and started leaving Peg on patrol back there, they kept their distance, rather than have to run the Gauntlet of Doom between the next-closest tree and the one beside the house.

She probably just wanted to play with them, but they didn't know that... ;)  ;D

For some reason I can see you with an English Bull Terrier... excellent ratters, and toe-rags, chavvies, and traveling salesmen are terrified of them. But they're small enough to cuddle in your lap, and very smart and sweet. Not big barkers, either.

White is popular, but they also come in black, brindle, and plaid. ;D

Come on... you know you want one... ;)

But then you'd need a sidecar for the bike... :D
