dc-10 Tanker

My wife works for Omni Air Intl. a charter air company who flys several dc-10s. The company is part of the 10 Tanker company that owns the 10 Tanker used for forest fire fighting. I've seen an add-on DC6 fire-bomber with water-dumping animation...

These two pics are from an actual fire fighting mission. The plane has been certified for use last year. I believe it was finally used on the last big fire in claifornia last year. I believe it cost $25,000 to $50,000 per flight on a fire.
