What about the rest of the pictures then? Eh? ;D

Anyone else heard that the go ahead has recently been given for a widening of the canal. I'll mean that cargo and cruise ships are gonna be able to get bigger in the future.

I'm not sure about the widening?

i was speaking to a senior member of crew, and he was telling me that many new cruise vessels are built "Panama Size", meaning they are wide enough at the base, but midway up (above the wall of the canal, the ship is widened alot, so in the reality its like having a thin like ship, with a wide top. Quite a neat idea to get around the idea of only smaller ships entering the canal.

Panamax is the rule to which the majority of ships have been built to for the past 60 or so years. Even the American battleships and the QM2. All cruise ships will be panamax aswell. The only ships that arn't are the ones that will never need to travel between the pacific and the atlantic. Supertankers for example.

Now where are the rest of the pictures? ;D

Panamax, thats the word i was originally looking for.

So it must be going ahead then, shame to see it loose its original form...

Pictures: Put politley, my camera, is been a complete P.I.T.A.

And quite frankly i cant be arsed with it at the mo, I'll just stick to the beers, never let me down
