If it's Wednesday, this must be Chicago... pt 1
Another job in the Chi-town area; another dawn flight out of KEWR. Turns out I'll be on the night shift this week, and I thought of going over to Schaumburg for a Diamond rental checkout (pretty good wx), but I was too tired and distracted. Maybe later... if the weather doesn't ruin everything...
Anyways... some pictures. Very pretty morning for flying.
Some of these are OK, considering they're shot through the window of an ERJ...
Except this one...
I was just turning the camera back on as we pulled out onto 04R, and didn't quite get this one... but it's an interesting angle that I've never seen before when sitting aboard an airliner.
Turning to fly right over Linden Airport after takeoff...

And a glimpse back at KEWR as we turn onto the course heading, still climbing like crazy.

Not quite at cruise altitude yet, but they did keep it pretty low to make the best of the strong northwesterly winds.

Next: part 2
