So a little background first.  My girlfriend came down to visit me during Christmas and New Years. She lives in Michigan and I in Alabama so we don't get to see each other much. On the day she had to leave we took a few pictures



Airport firetrucks that we had no idea what there were doing. I would like to know what it was, we just figured that were playing. It had rained that morning if that helps anyone

I know the feeling.

As for the fire trucks... I can't really tell, but if they're spraying water (?) I'd guess maybe they're taking advantage of the rain to wash the pavement...? I doubt it, but it's even less likely that they were "playing"... they're not allowed to play with the equipment like that.

Maybe it was some sort of training or testing session.

Yes they were sparying water, at least it appered to be. It was on the taxiway. When they returned to the building they kept sparying water outside in front, emplying the tank?
